I look forward to serving you as your wedding guitarist. It just takes little planning and together we can ensure a smooth, snag free wedding ceremony. Here are the most important things to think about...

Choosing Ceremony Music

Your ceremony is likely to have several parts that require guitar music: The Prelude, The Wedding Party, The Entrance of the Bride, and the Recessional. Typically you leave the "Prelude" music up to the guitarist. I suggest choosing one song for the wedding party, one for the bride, and one for the recessional. This three song ceremony is the most popular format.

Here are some samples from my repertoire that would work well for both the wedding party and the entrance of the bride: Spanish Romance, To Live, Bach Prelude, Cavatina,
Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, or Pachelbel's Canon In D Major. If you want to go the traditional route for the 'Entrance of the Bride' You could always use Bridal Chorus (aka "Here Comes the Bride") by Richard Wagner.

Finally, some lively and jubilant choices for your recessional:
Aguila Cosmica, Malaguena, Un Tren, Azul. The traditional piece for the recessional is of course: Wedding March by Felix Mendelssohn. click here for more samples

Custom Arranged Music

You may have a special song that you would like to be played at some point during your wedding. Perhaps its the song that you fell in love to or the piece playing in the background when you first met. I can make a customized arrangement and bring those memories back with a live performance of your song. Make sure to ask at least two months ahead of time if you would like a custom song arrangement. This gives me time to arrange, practice, and memorize the piece. Pricing for a custom song arrangement is between $100 and $200 dollars depending on it's length and difficulty.

Event Day Contact Person

You are likely to be quite busy the day of your wedding. Its good idea to appoint a contact person that I can call upon if the need arises. This can be a wedding planner, family member, or friend. Make sure they'll have a cell phone on them and that I have their number.

Time-Line

An excellent way to get your wedding organized and get everybody involved (vendors, important people, your guitarist, family etc..) on the same track is to create a time line. Que Person

Although not always necessary, its a good idea to designate a que person that will send me signals about when to start or stop playing. This is especially useful if your having a large wedding and the wedding party and or bride may not be visible to me. Keep in mind that the audience usually stands up for the processional...this can block my view. The officiant, wedding planner, or family member can be assigned the task of signaling me.

Pricing

Ceremony pricing ranges from $300 to $600 and varies depending on several factors. I am more than happy to discuss this with you. Please Contact me to learn more about my rates, availability, and booking process.
